Fire control vehicles

TO INCREASE THE ACCURACY of the FIRST SHOT

It is essential to know the local weather conditions to :
  • Give ballistic corrections to the firing batteries
  • Avoid adjustment shot and save ammunition
  • Reduce collateral damages

Artillery fire is particularly sensitive to wind and weather conditions and often requires fire setting. When the shooting distance is great, deviations caused by wind on the trajectory may have undesirable effects.

If weather conditions are known, test or adjustments shots become useless. The surprise is preserved, and some ammunition is saved.

Other benefits …

  • Meets MIL-STD 461 F and 810 F
  • High MTBF
  • Use on vehicle, container or tripod
  • Low maintenance
  • Measured data's available 20 seconds after start-up
  • Permanent built-in test
